GIMBAP (김밥)
In south Korea food is big issue for Muslims specially halal food  Korean are rarely familiar with this. Another hurdle is language Korean can't understand english  or ingredients and products information is also in Korean. Muslim can't get to know what does it means. Some foods like kimbap, bibimbap etc are considered halal on basis of ingredients. Here in this article I will try to cover all about kimbap the ingredients they used the procedure they followed.I  also find hard to select anything else from grocery store even in rice you will find too many varieties.
Kimbap ( 김밥)  “Korean rice rolls”  also referred as Kimbap, made from rice  and other ingredients rolled in Gim(김) a “dried nori seaweed sheet”. In south korea this bite sized dish is most delicious   and considered as on the go food. practically available  everywhere and are popular with adults and kids alike.

Ingredient & Procedure:
Gim (김) and bap (밥) are the two basic ingredient Gim(김) means food bap (밥)  are short-grain white rice is most commonly used in preparation. for healthier option are available as short-grain brown rice, black rice, or other grains may also serve as the filling.

Gim( 김) /Seaweeds sheet:
Nori seaweed  sheet , term Nori referred as  Japanese name for edible seaweed. These are made by a shredding and rack-drying process that resembles papermaking. Available at convenient grocery stores for culinary purposes. In kimbap recipe seaweed sheet used for rapping kimbap ingredients. They are also lightly roasted. Rice 밥:
Gim and bap are the two basic ingredient of above we discussed about Gim김" Nori seaweeds sheet" here we will discuss bap means rice.Kimbap rice is typically made short grain rice.  These are slightly cooked as drier  and seasoned with sesame oil and salt to enhance flavor For healthier options, you can mix in some brown rice or multi-grain rice.

Gimbap Filling:
There are many types of kimbap include cheese, spicy cooked squid, kimchi, luncheon meat, or spicy tuna.Although Kimbap filling include all sorts of things, basically it contains rice, vegetable, meat. Rice are compulsory in vegetables you can use anything else for meat vegetarian can replace it with Tofu. Generally vegetable includes yellow pickled radish (danmuji),eomuk (fish cake), carrots, spinach,cucumber perilla leaves. In meat you can use any sort of meat i.e. Fish, ham, beef, crab meat, canned tuna, tofu as other. kimbap are available including ham or spam so make sure to ask them to remove it for this you can say gogi-wa Jaen bbae juseyo or asked for vegetable kimbap called  yachae kimbap(야채김밥). Instead of meat you can add tofu.

Braised burdock root (우엉) :
burdock is a biennial plant used in classic gimbap available as burdock root prepared for gimbap can be placed to yellow pickled radishes (danmuji).

Procedure:
Step1 :seasoning rice :
To make the dish first rice are cooked and lightly seasoned with salt and sesame oil.

Step2: Seasoning vegetables/tofu
After preparing rice next cut off vegetables in ½ inch thick slice ,stir fry until soften.  For tofu cut into ¾ inch thick stick, sprinkles on top salt. Heat up a pan to fry tofu until it's golden brown shad.

Step3: Prepare Kimbap roll
To make him bap roll first of all slightly tossed it and laid on gimbals ”bamboo roller” placed a layer of cooked rice on top, placed other vegetables, tofu over rice  and rolled into cylindrical shape about 1.6 inches. In order to serve cut into small slices.
